Derma Roller
The secret of handling some skin imperfections is through rebuilding your skin’s collagen fibers beneath the surface of the skin by the use of an interesting and popular device called the “Derma Roller”.
The derma roller’s aim is to use a specialized tool with microneedles of length varying between 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm to create hundreds of micro-injuries to the surface of the skin when rolled, to kick collagen and elastin production into overdrive when used by professionals. This method is ideal for fine lines and wrinkles since deeper layers of the skin are exposed that will benefit more from these topical products, increasing the effectivity greatly. In addition to assisting in treating acne scars, especially when used with a special serum to be absorbed more effectively.
After the rolling treatment, topical medications or serums are applied to the surface of the skin skin as they will have better absorption rate of 90% and reach the upper dermis or the deep epidermis and provide the desired effects.
Dermal rollers aids in epidermal healing. They lead to the release of Epidermal Keratinocytes in excess. The end-result is a renewed skin surface that appears fresh and smooth. In addition to this, it also significantly reduces skin pigmentation and thereby, improving your complexion.
In case you’re wondering, Derma Rollers are an effective treatment for all types of skin and give visible results when you opt for repeat sessions in a gap of 30 days, and are not painful.
